This wheel features a Shadow "Symbol cassette" rear sealed bearing hub with a 9 tooth driver, Shadow "Truss" 36h rim, and Shadow 14 gauge spokes with brass spoke nipples. Includes a Shadow rim strip. This wheel is one of the strongest and lightest complete wheels available, it's already built, and ready to ride out of the box. Weight: 3 lbs = 48 oz. The Shadow Symbol cassette rear hub includes a 6061 aluminum hub shell with 2 sealed bearings. 14mm nickel chromoly axle with 6mm broach. 1pc chromoly driver with 3 sealed bearings. 4 pawl driver with individual leaf springs for precise engagement. 36h with 9t driver. Includes a proprietary replaceable plastic non-drive side hub guard to protect the spokes and flange from grind damage. The Shadow Truss rim is a double walled, 38mm wide rim with centerline spoke drilling. Increased spoke area to limit spoke pull through and increase structural integrity. 3 internal chambers with bridge inspired design. Heat treated 6061 – T6 alloy with welded seam.
